What moves the price
- Footage. The selected glass system is priced by linear foot after we know the real runs.
- Removing an old railing. $5/linear ft for removal and disposal.
- Stairs and layout. Raked panels, angled rails, more posts, and more corners add fabrication and install time.
- Corners and posts. Every corner is fabrication and hardware; an L-shaped deck costs more than the same footage straight.
- Height and anchoring. 42-inch guards above 5'11", anchoring into old concrete or stone caps, and second-storey access all add labour.
- Access. Tight side yards, second-storey work, and awkward material handling can add labour.
